The Ball had historical significance for the organization as it was first hosted back in 1974 by the Pulaski Junior Civic League, as an opportunity to raise money for NOCHBI - Northern Oswego County Health Building. After more than 50 years, the organization is still strong and continuing to grow, following its core principles of ensuring access to health care in our rural communities. At this year's Valentine’s Ball, ConnextCare celebrated its last 10 years of success as an integrated system, and honored those community leaders who had the vision and dedication to work toward the common goal of preserving the primary care safety network in Oswego County. Dollars raised as part of this celebration will be reinvested back to ConnextCare’s staff to support future educational opportunities. ConenxtCare was fortunate to secure support from over 30 sponsors ranging from large corporations to local families. The two presenting sponsors for the Ball were LeChase Construction Services, LLC and Oswego Health.
“We are extremely grateful to all the sponsors and everyone who purchased tickets to the Ball,” said Tricia Peter-Clark, ConnextCare President and CEO. “As an organization we are very fortunate to have so many members of the community who support ConnextCare's mission to provide comprehensive, affordable, and premier health care and support services to our local community.” In total the Valentine’s Ball raised nearly $70,000 in net profits.
